Women from Küçükçekmece meet at the "Get Your Basket and Come" picnic

The picnic organized by Küçükçekmece Municipality Culture and Social Affairs Directorate is held with participants from two neighborhoods every week. The event, which was attended by many women from Yenimahalle and Cumhuriyet Neighborhoods with their children, was the scene of colorful moments. The district residents, who danced to music and had fun in the organized competitions throughout the day, had a great time. The children both had fun and learned in the crown and bookmark making workshop. In addition to the workshops, surprise gifts were distributed to the children, and cold drinks and unlimited tea were served.

Melek Demir, who attended the picnic with her neighbors and friends, said, "It was a wonderful event for both us and the children. I follow the activities of Küçükçekmece Municipality closely and participate as much as I can. I would like to thank everyone who contributed."

Öznur Dabak, a resident of Cumhuriyet Neighborhood, said, "We ate our meals, played games and participated in competitions. My son also participated in the workshops. It was a great event for all of us. This was the first time I attended an event organized by the municipality. From now on, I will follow and participate in all events."
